I downloaded ntl netguard the other day. Ooh, I thought, free virus scanner and firewall, gotta be good. This morning it took me two hours to get into my damn computer, which I only managed to do after restoring it to how it was two weeks ago. I didn't even that I could do that, never mind how to do it. I could get in in safe mode - which is fucking annoying, no internet access (so I couldn't get to Dell's site to ask them what the problem was or to get the number for their tech support to ask them there) and even better I couldn't uninstall or disable netguard in safe mode.

The wordless, formless fury that escaped me needs no description. It was red.

The moral of the story is, ntl suck. I thought they might actually be improving suddenly with this. This is what I look like when I'm being stupid.

I'm also being pissed off and upset for many and various reasons which I need to talk to Gray about. I can't change what will happen, I don't even know yet what will happen, but I can worry about it until it happens. And see if I care if it's unhealthy.

I'm gonna watch Lost and hang out laundry. And look at job vacancies. I wish I knew what was going to happen.

NTL is abysmal at customer support, doing anything they say they will and its generally a shite service as far as internet goes, can't say the same for cable tv because i never had an issue with it.

personally i'd get rid of NTL all together and go with another provider.

I don't want to get into a 12 month contract with another provider because at the moment I don't know if I'm going to be at this house in 12 months. At the moment I don't even know if I'm going to be in Leicester in 12 months.

They most certainly do. So long as nothing goes wrong with my phone or broadband everything's fine. As soon as anything does go wrong I have to tell them at least three times before getting any kind of response. Ah well, I'll know for next time.
